ARTIST STATEMENT

I am a multimedia artist who uses intense psychological experiences of emotion such as joy, to create vibrant and colourful artworks. I aim to make new surreal escapist experiences for the viewer. My paintings express a “buzzing for life” and an abundance of imagination.  My artwork also investigates colour psychology, colour theory and mark making in conjunction with exploring a deeper sense of self. I  am to explore a sense of spiritual awareness. I am interested in creatively energising my artworks whilst creating a deep connection of mindfulness and peace throughout.
